The Dining Services team at The College of New Jersey looks forward to serving you during the 2006-2007 Academic year. This dining guide has been designed to act as a quick reference to all of our services, so you may want to keep it handy throughout the year to enjoy all we have to offer.

Dining Services at TCNJ
Carte Blanche: All-You-Care-To-Eat
If you choose any of the Carte Blanche Plans, you are welcome to dine as many times as you wish at Eickhoff Dining Hall during the hours provided by your plan. When you enter Eickhoff, you simply present your TCNJ ID and enjoy whatever foods and beverages you wish while at the dining hall.
What does Eickhoff Hall offer? Make your own fresh salad at our salad bar, enjoy a hot "home-style" meal at our Classics Station, get a great deli sandwich made to your specifications, eat healthy at our new Wellness Station and much, much, more! Thirsty? Eickhoff Dining Hall offers over 25 beverage choices, from refreshing fruit juices, to ice cold Pepsi fountain sodas, to a hot cup of Green Mountain Coffee -- there's even a choice of 4 varieties of milk.
Also, all three Carte Blanche Plans are supplemented with Carte Blanche Points - the same type of declining balance system currently being used at TCNJ. With your points, you simply present your TCNJ ID Card to make cashless purchases at any TCNJ Dining location - you can even use them to treat a friend or family member to an all-you-care-to-eat meal at Eickhoff.
Not sure if Carte Blanche is right for you? No problem - "points-only" plans, similar to the ones in place this year, are also available to you. Read the details of each plan below and choose the one that's right for you.
Moving into one of the new TCNJ Apartments, Country Club Apartments or Transfer Housing? You can still choose from any of the new Carte Blanche Plans or any of the "traditional" points-only plans - or you can choose a new, smaller dining points plan designed specifically for apartment residents. The Carte Blanche A Plan
Fall Price: Carte Blanche A - $1546
Spring Price: Carte Blanche A - $1457The Carte Blanche A Plan offers the best combination of convenience and value. Students with this plan can enjoy a great meal, a snack, or just a quick beverage whenever they wish at Eickhoff Dining Hall, without ever paying to enter. Visit as often as you wish, enjoy whatever you wish!
Not near Eickhoff when hunger hits? This plan also includes $400 in Carte Blanche Points per semester that can be used like cash at any TCNJ Dining Location. Pick-up a hot espresso at Edith's Place, a spicy plate of buffalo wings at Travers-Wolfe, or a box of your favorite cereal at The Marketplace Convenience Store -- and pay for it simply by presenting your TCNJ ID Card.
A Great Plan at a Great Value: How's this for a good deal? The Carte Blanche A Plan offers $150 dollars more per semester in Carte Blanche Points than the Carte Blanche B Plan but only cost $100 more per semester! It's like getting $50 in points free each semester!
The Carte Blanche B Plan
Fall Price: Carte Blanche B - $1473
Spring Price: Carte Blanche B - $1353The Carte Blanche B Plan offers all-day dining at Eickhoff. Students with this plan can enjoy a great meal, a snack, or just a quick beverage whenever they wish at Eickhoff Dining Hall, without ever paying to enter. Visit as often as you wish, enjoy whatever you wish!
Not near Eickhoff when hunger hits? This plan also includes $250 in Carte Blanche Points that can be used like cash at any TCNJ Dining Location.
Not sure how often you'll eat breakfast? The Carte Blanche B Plan includes unlimited access for breakfast and for only about $4.50 per WEEK!
The Carte Blanche C Plan
Fall Price: Carte Blanche C - $1284
Spring Price: Carte Blanche C - $1179The Carte Blanche C Plan offers unlimited access during lunch and dinner hours. From 11:00am to close each day, students with this plan can enjoy a great meal, a snack, or just a quick beverage whenever they wish at Eickhoff Dining Hall, without ever paying to enter.
This plan also includes $150 in Carte Blanche Points per semester that can be used like cash at any TCNJ Dining Location.
We know you've got a busy schedule, but...
Even if you eat an occasional breakfast - or even enjoy a daily cup of coffee, you may want to choose the Carte Blanche B Plan over the Carte Blanche C Plan.
"Points Only" (or "A la Carte") Plans you may choose from:
There are three plans that offer only Dining Points - much like the plans you have this year.
Points Only ("A la Carte") Plan 1 - This plan provides $1466.50 in dining points per semester. Recommended for students that will be on-campus for most weekends and/or eat on campus frequently during the week.
Points Only ("A la Carte") Plan 2 - This plan provides $1231.50 in dining points per semester. Recommended for students that are on-campus several weekends per semester and/or eat most meals on campus.
Points Only ("A la Carte") Plan 3 - This plan provides $996.50 in dining points per semester. Recommended for students that are frequently off-campus for the majority of the day.
An additional choice for Apartment and Transfer Housing Residents:
If you're living in a TCNJ Apartment or Transfer Housing this year, you may choose any of the six plans listed above (Carte Blanche or Points-Only), or choose the new Apartment Point Plan.
The new Apartment Point Plan offers $200 per semester in Dining Points that can be used at any TCNJ Dining location for food purchases.
Dietary Requirements & Special Accommodations
Dining Services at The College of New Jersey is committed to meeting your nutritional needs. Many vegetarian and vegan options are available throughout the day at dining locations across campus. Kosher items are available at the Marketplace Convenience Store. Low fat, healthy options are available and identified at each meal, including a new Wellness Station located in the Eickhoff Dining Hall. If you have a food allergy or a special dietary need, feel free to contact our Executive Chef, Mark Catalina at (609) 771-2364. Chef Catalina will make sure your needs are addressed and can bring you the services of a Registered Dietician when needed.

Located between the First-year Residence Halls, this popular location offers dinner and late night dining options - pizzas, grill items and a salad bar top a long list of available options.Hours of Operation:

This Student Center location offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options in a casual dining setting.Hours of Operation:

Great pub-style foods with a fun atmosphere - evenings include big screen movies and live bands.Hours of Operation:

We are pleased to offer a full repertoire of catering services as part of our Campus Dining Program, including our "Surprise Someone" gift program. From simple parties to elaborate dinners and elegant events, our Catering Department can be the solution to your special event needs. Your comments and suggestions are critical to our success. You may speak to the manager at any dining location, fill out a comment card or send us an on-line comment. In addition, students are invited to join our Dining Services Committee, which meets with our dining managers bi-weekly through out the year.
