We are delighted to share our catering brochure with you! From morning breakfast buffets and freshly brewed coffee to a casual feast, and elegant hors d’oeuvres, these pages are filled with fresh and contemporary menus. These represent only a starting point, however. Our commitment to you is to customize menus as needed for any occasion. Whatever your event: a breakfast meeting, a faculty luncheon, a retirement party, you will find that we offer fresh ingredients, creative preparations, elegant presentation, and thoughtful service. We would be pleased to help you design a menu for your next event.

Q. How do I get an account so I can start using CaterTrax?

A. Similar to signing up for the office supply ordering process with Office Max, your cost center manager must register each user in their department by completing the form on the link https://jedi.tcnj.edu/webteam/cgi-bin/formgenie/formgenie.pl?form=26302

Q. How can I learn to use CaterTrax?

A. CaterTrax has an online tutorial especially designed for TCNJ Campus users. Simply click the tutorial button above to download the pdf. If you still have questions after viewing the tutorial, you can always call the Help Hotline at 609-771-3377.

Q. Will CaterTrax make my job easier?

A. Yes. CaterTrax is an easy four step food & beverage ordering process. You'll have 24 hour access to your account which means flexibility in planning and easy management of your orders & invoices.

Q. How do I order food or beverage items that are not on CaterTrax?

A. Using CaterTrax, you will be able to type a text message directly to the Catering Director indicating questions about any food item available for your event. TCNJ Dining Services is capable of customizing any menu to fit your event needs.

Q. How will I know what is going on with my food or beverage order(s)?

A. You can have as many food & beverage orders on CaterTrax as you need. You'll have 24 hour access to your account which means flexibility in planning and easy management of your orders & invoices. You will also receive an email confirmation from CaterTrax.

Q. Can I trust CaterTrax to take care of my food & beverage orders?

A. Yes. CaterTrax is accessible and reliable, offering continuous communication. You can always view the status of your food & beverage order(s) for tracking purposes via the time stamped event journal. You will also receive an email confirmation from CaterTrax.

Q. How do I know how much I can spend on food & beverages for my meeting?

A. TCNJ Department budgets have predetermined dollar amounts for food & beverage orders called Threshold Prices. Please work with your department head to determine your budget. With your department head's approval, you do not have to fill out the Exception Authorization Form.

Q. What is a Department Threshold Price, and why is it important?

A. TCNJ Department budgets have predetermined dollar amounts for food & beverage orders called Threshold Prices. Please work with your department head to determine your budget. Threshold prices have been established at the following levels: Breakfast: $8.35 per person; Lunch: $11.45 per person; Dinner: $16.65 per person; AM/PM Breaks: $4.85 per person; Receptions: $11.80 per person; Retirement Receptions: $3.15 per person.

Q. Can I order tables & chairs for my meeting through CaterTrax?

A. CaterTrax is used to place food & beverage orders only. You must continue to contact Conference & Meeting Services via the R25 web system in order to place your table and chair requests.

Q. Can I schedule meeting space through CaterTrax?

A. CaterTrax is used to place food & beverage orders only. You must contact Conference & Meeting Services via the R25 web system to place your space requests. Meeting space is scheduled through R25, the online scheduling process designed for TCNJ Campus users.

Q. How do I order Audio Visual equipment for my meeting?

A. Audio Visual equipment for your meeting can be arranged via the MTSS online ordering system at https://delphi.tcnj.edu:81/cgi-bin/EDC/request.cgi.

Q. When is the hotline available?

A. The TCNJ Help Hotline, 609-771-3377, is staffed Monday - Friday 9:00a.m. - 3:30p.m. The hotline has been implemented specifically for TCNJ Campus users.

Q. How far in advance of my meeting should I place my food and beverage order?

A. You are encouraged to place your catering order as early as possible, however you must place your food and beverage order at least two weeks before your meeting. CaterTrax is an easy four step food & beverage ordering process which alerts you to pertinent information such as deadlines.

Q. When am I required to provide a guaranteed guest count for my food and beverage order?

A. Guarantees are due one week in advance. If your guest count for your meeting increases during this week, the Catering Department will try to accomodate your needs.

Q. Are there any pre-planning things I should think about before I place my food & beverage order?

A. If you need meeting space, you must contact Conference & Meeting Services via the R25 web system to place your space requests and you will receive your R25 Confirmation number. Once you have a CaterTrax user account, identify the purpose of your meeting, list your food & beverage requirements, then just log onto CaterTrax and begin the easy four step food & beverage ordering process.
